Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi will continue speeding up administrative reforms, and synchronising policies and mechanisms to facilitate operations of Japanese enterprises in the locality, said Municipal People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung.

Speaking at a seminar to promote Japanese investment and tourism in Hanoi held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on March 20, Chung affirmed that the capital treasures and wishes to expand cooperation with Japanese partners.

According to VCCI Chairman Vu Tien Loc, a new flow of Japanese investment will pour into Vietnam in the coming time as a result of the newly signed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.

As a hub for economic and trade exchanges in the north, Hanoi will be an attractive destination for Japanese investors, he said.

At the seminar, the municipal Centre for Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion introduced the city's tourism potential to Japanese enterprises, and called for investment in the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, and South Hanoi and Phu Nghia industrial zones.

On this occasion, Hanoi also called for investment in a hi-tech park in suburban Dong Anh district, the No. 6 urban railway project, an international hospital in Gia Lam district and logistics services in Soc Son district.
